Q:
How soon can I expect to
see results from Flavocin?
A: For dogs with joint
problems inflammation and pain should begin to disappear
within 1-2 weeks of use. Dogs should begin to show
increased mobility and flexibility in 3 to 4 weeks.
Some respond well in less time. A lack of a response
may indicate that the recommended daily dosage was
not enough for that animal. If that occurs, increasethe
dosgae by on or two tablets per day for one week
until positive results are seen and then go back
to normal recommended usage. It is important to
remember that consistent daily usage is best for
positive long-term results. In fact, that’s
why we offer our Flavocin Wellness Plan. It’s
the smartest most economical way to guarantee your
dog gets the micronutrients needed to live a long,
happy and healthy life.
Q: What
is the recommended dosage for my dog?
A: For
small dogs up to 30 pounds you should give them
1 tablet per day. For those dogs that weigh between
31 and 60 pounds, they should get two chewable tablets
each day (1 tablet in the a.m. and 1 tablet in the
p.m.). And for large dogs over 60 pounds 3 tablets
per day is ideal (2 tablets in the a.m. and 1 tablet
in the p.m.)
Q:
What makes Flavocin different from the other
stuff out there?
A: There are joint
formulas available for your dog and there are pet
antioxidants out there too. Some are good —
and some are not so good. And if you wanted both—you
had to buy both. But now with Flavocin your dog
is getting the very best of both worlds. And that’s
what makes Flavocin so different. With Flavocin
your dog is getting the very best joint formula
and pet antioxidant in one easy-to-feed chewable
tablet. Scientifically developed to treat both the
symptoms and causes of joint problems, Flavocin
delivers micronutrients directly to joints…
keeping cartilage, tendons, and ligaments healthy—and
your dog pain free. Not only that, but Flavocin
contains a powerful blend of antioxidants helping
your dog fight harmful free radicals. Many scientists
believe that free radicals may be a root cause of
more than 60 diseases including certain types of
cancer, cataracts, arthritis and heart disease as
well as the aging process itself. Plus, Flavocin
comes with an “iron clad 60-day 100% satisfaction
guarantee”. How many other dog products are
so confident that their formula will work that they
can afford to offer a guarantee like that? I think
you’ll find there aren’t many at all!
Q:
What are the ingredients in Flavocin?
A: Here is a listing

Q:
How long will my dog need to take Flavocin?
A: It is important
to remember that consistent daily usage is best
for positive long-term results. You should plan
on giving your dog the recommended dosage of Flavocin
for at least 30 days. If you see noticeable improvement
you can continue with the same amount for uninterrupted
results. Many dog owners prefer our Wellness Plan
which locks in the lowest possible price (as low
as $10.65 per month for small dogs).
Q:
I've noticed several different brands of dog
food in TV ads and at my local pet superstore with
added supplements like glucosamine for "senior"
or "mature" dogs. Won't this do the same
thing for my dog as your product?
A: The good news is
the commercial dog food makers are becoming believers
in the health benefits of supplements like glucosamine…
or else they wouldn’t be adding them to their
pet foods. The bad news is you have to be aware
of a little trick called “dusting”.
Dusting is when manufacturers put just enough of
the ingredient in a product to get it listed on
the label… but it’s often in such a
small amount that it provides no noticeable benefit.
Studies show that to help treat joint problems,
your dog needs 500 mg of Glucosamine HCl for every
30 pounds of weight—each and every day. And
Flavocin contains 500 mg of Glucosamine in every
chewable tablet! There’s NO WAY pet foods
have that much in each serving. Why not? Because
a 20 lb. bag of dog food would cost them (and you)
a fortune. And one more point to remember…
pet food makers often use chicken cartilage (yuck!)
as a source of their glucosamine. Flavocin uses
99.9% pure Glucosamine HCl... and lots of it!
Q:
My dog is a finicky eater. Will he like Flavocin?
A: Chances are pretty
good (9 out of 10) that he will. Most dogs find
the natural beef and liver flavors very palatable.
Which means it tastes good to them. However, in
the rare case that dogs won’t eat the chewables
plain, by themselves, you can easily crumble it
and mix it in with their food.
Q:
My dog is allergic to beef, or I am concerned
about BSE contamination (mad cow disease). I see
that Natural Beef Flavor is listed on your label.
Will my dog be able to eat Flavocin?
A: The Natural Beef
Flavoring in Flavocin is actually made from a vegetable
base, and it has no beef products in it whatsoever,
so it should be completely safe for your dog.
Q:
I see some joint formulas for dogs with MSM in
them? Is that OK to give to my dog?
A: According to the
American Association of Feed Control Officials (AAFCO)
MSM or methylsulfonylmethane is not Generally Recognized
As Safe (GRAS) for dogs. However, all the ingredients
in Flavocin are GRAS-approved by the AAFCO. I don’t
give my dogs anything that’s not guaranteed
safe… but obviously, the choice is yours.
Q:
My dog is on the borderline between the weights
you specify for Medium and Large dogs. Should I
give him the smaller dosage?
A: If dogs are between
weight classes it’s probably best to opt for
the higher class. Giving your dog a little extra
“boost” with a larger dosage…maybe
three tablets instead of two… can provide
faster results. As your dog continues to improve
you can cut back a little and use a maintenance
dose (½ the normal amount) for long-term
health.
Q:
Why are you giving away a $14.95 book FREE?
A: After my own two
dogs began to have joint problems, and the drugs
(Metacam) my vet prescribed weren’t having
much effect, I new I had to do something. You see,
I didn’t want to give my dog’s prescription
meds, after all they aren’t cheap and the
potential side effects were just too risky for me.
So I did some research and discovered the book,
"Your Older Dog". And boy was it
a real eye opener! It’s packed with lots of
great info on why dogs are so prone to joint problems
and it described a low-cost, safe and effective
treatments to halt, reverse, and even cure arthritis
in dogs. Because this 144-page book has so much
information in it I knew there was no way I could
explain it all to you so I figured the best way
was to let you have it and see for yourself…
so you don’t have to go through all the research
I did. And the truth is by following a few simple
steps as outlined in the book… it can absolutely
positively help your dog overcome joint problems.
Flavocin and Your Older Dog Dog is a powerful
one-two punch. I know because it worked for me and
my dogs, and a lot of other customers and their
dogs as well.
Q:
Can my pet overdose on your product? What should
I do if he eats the whole bottle?
A: We've had customers
whose dogs who ate an entire bottle of tablets and
the pet owners reported absolutely no adverse reaction.
If the dog swallows a large amount of tablets, our
vet recommends eliminating feeding of Flavocin for
a week. Your dog may show symptoms of gastro-intestinal
distress like vomiting or diarrhea, but these symptoms
should be temporary. If your dog does get diarrhea,
be sure to provide plenty of water. Your vet may
choose to administer activated charcoal if these
kinds of symptoms of irritation to the GI tract
do occur.
Q:
Can I give my dog my own glucosamine supplements?
A: You probably shouldn’t.
Just because it’s safe for human use doesn’t
mean it’s safe for dogs. Ibuprofen is a good
example. Even though it’s OK for you and me,
it can be toxic and fatal to dogs. In fact, you
shouldn’t even give cat food to dogs. A good
rule of thumb is to only give your dog foods, nutrients,
and treats designed specifically for them. Because
Flavocin has been developed with the aid of a clinical
nutritionist and a staff veterinarian—exclusively
for dogs—you can be sure it’s safe and
effective.
Q:
My dog is getting older, but isn't showing any
signs of joint problems. Would there be any benefit
to giving him the product before he starts to show
symptoms?
A: That’s a
tough question to answer. Even though I think the
science proves that most every dog can benefit from
Flavocin, maybe this is the best way to think about
it: While your dog isn’t showing any signs
of aging now… odds are, age is going to start
catching up. It’s a hard cruel fact of life,
especially for dogs since they age 7 times faster
than we do. Scientists now believe that damage from
free radicals is the number one cause of disease
and aging in dogs. And the best way to fight free
radicals is with antioxidants like those found in
Flavocin. That’s why a lot of our customers
give their dogs Flavocin right now—they are
trying to prevent the problems before they happen.
And it’s possible with Flavocin because it
has a powerful blend of micronutrients designed
to keep your dog’s natural healing process
in high gear, and your dog active, healthy, and
happy throughout its life.
